The Custom Fields screen lets you define 4 different types of customizable  fields.  You can give each field a name of your choosing and a default value for adding to new records automatically.  The types of custom fields are:

 

oText - enter any characters in this type of field

oLogical - can be either True or False

oNumeric - enter number values

oDate - date values
