The separator or delimiter between fields in a saved spreadsheet's CSV file can be adjusted in Windows. The default comma separator can cause problems when some of the data may contain commas - for example the artist Blood, Sweat and Tears would cause problems. The comma between Blood and Sweat would be assumed to be a break between the fields. Changing the separator process is shown below - we are changing it to a semicolon in the example.
In the example below the setting is accessed from the Windows 10 Control Panel Region link. Some versions of Windows may have different wording for this link - in Windows 7 and 8 it is Clock, Language, and Region.
