The Records, Reports and Labels grids can be filtered in many ways.  Each method is explained below or a link to a method is displayed.

 

Note: Filtering on any text with an apostrophe/single quote marker will not work and will cause an error - e.g. A Hard Day's Night.

Column Header Filtering - Records, Reports and Labels

 

 

Pop Up Menu Filtering - Records Only

 

The Records grid can be filtered by artist by right-clicking on the grid.  The artist the cursor is on when clicked will appear in the pop up menu with a filter option.  If the A and B Side artists are different then both artists will appear in the pop up menu with a filtering option.

 

 

Custom Filters

 

There are two filter dialogs:

 

The Simple Custom Filter allows for one or two criteria on a single column at a time.

The Filter Builder allows for multiple settings and groupings.

 

Drop down Filter Custom Filter Dialog - if the Use Complex Filter Dialog is not checked on Preferences | Program Settings screen then clicking on the (Custom...) option in the drop down filter list will open the simple Custom Filter Dialog.  If the Use Complex Filter Dialog is checked then the Filter Builder Dialog is opened.
